Oak Creek, Wisconsin, May 19, 2026 – AW-Lake, a leading manufacturer of flow measurement instrumentation, has named Claude Champion as its new General Manager. Champion brings extensive experience in business management, sales leadership, and business development, with a strong record of guiding industrial technology companies through strategic planning, sales transformation, and organizational development.
Champion joins AW-Lake as the company continues to refine its sales organization and structure to better serve the flow measurement needs of customers throughout North and South America. In his new role, he will focus on sales strategy, market development, distribution partnerships, strategic accounts, and new business opportunities.

Most recently, Champion served as Sales Director for LEM’s industrial segment, where he helped reshape the company’s go-to-market approach. Prior to that, he served as General Manager of LEM USA, holding full regional P&L responsibility and overseeing initiatives across strategy, sales, operations, and organizational development.
“Claude brings a valuable combination of business discipline, customer focus, and sales experience,” said John Norris, TASI Measurement CEO. “His background aligns well with AW-Lake’s priorities as we continue strengthening our ability to serve customers with responsive support, technical expertise, and reliable flow measurement solutions.”
As part of this planned leadership transition, Chris Husson, who has served as AW-Lake’s General Manager for nearly two years, has taken on the role of Director of Operations. Husson has been with AW-Lake for more than three decades, contributing deep product knowledge, engineering expertise, operational insight, and long-standing commitment to the company.
In this role, Husson will focus on streamlining production, implementing Lean Manufacturing strategies, and building an operational structure designed to support the company’s next stage. The transition allows Champion to concentrate on the customer-facing side of the business while Husson directs operational performance and production efficiency.
“Chris brought a steady hand to the General Manager role and made lasting contributions to AW-Lake throughout his more than 30 years with the company,” said Norris. “This move reflects deep respect for Chris’s experience while allowing both Chris and Claude to focus where their strengths can have the greatest impact.”
“I am excited to join AW-Lake and work with a team known for technical expertise, product quality, and customer commitment,” said Champion. “I look forward to helping the company build on its strong reputation in flow measurement.”
