Gear Meters

Gear meters specifically spur gear, are ideal for low flow rates, viscous fluids, and measurement of flows involving starts and stops or pulsing.

Variable Area Meters

Variable Area flow meters are a type of rotameter that measure oils, liquids or gases by relating linear displacement of an internal “float” or sharp-edged orifice plate to a corresponding flow rate.

Coriolis Mass Flow Meters

TRICOR Coriolis flow meters are highly accurate and repeatable multi-variable instruments that measure mass flow, density, and temperature with calculated volumetric flow and feature a very easy user interface.

Paddle Wheel Flow Meter

Operating much like a turbine flow meter, the paddle wheel flow meter consists of a freely rotating wheel which is outfitted with magnets on the blades or “paddles” of the wheel.

Helical Flow Meters

Helical gear ("screw-type") flow meters are designed for measuring highly viscous, abrasive, and filled fluids including lubricating and non-lubricating media, such as polyurethane, polymers, greases and oils.

Turbine Flow Meters

Axial turbine flow meters are designed with wear resistant internal components to provide trouble-free operation and a long service life in a wide variety of industrial applications.

Ultrasonic Flow Meters

Non-contact ultrasonic flow meters for accurate, instantaneous mass & volumetric flow rate measurement of clean, non-aerated fluids in full pipes such as water, chemicals, and oils.

Flow Electronics

Electronics coupled with our mechanical flow meters deliver flow data in your preferred format, whether a local display, remote transmitter, or simple pickup.

Rotary Piston

Rotary Piston positive displacement flow meters are ideal for use in applications with very low flow rates and high pressures, such as offshore chemical injection applications.

Turbidity Sensor

AW-Lake's ProScan Turbidity Sensor is ideal for detection of material transitions, monitoring turbidity, and measuring product concentration, such as in dairy processing, juice processing, and brewing operations.

Fluid Power / Hydraulics

Flow meters used to monitor flow readings in fluid power systems are essential to properly monitoring your process, diagnosing system errors, and ensuring system performance. Our expertise in this area goes back decades with numerous flow meters for the hydraulics and fluid power system industry.

Oil & Gas

From corrosive subsea environments, offshore production platforms, onshore oil fields, or refineries we have the flow expertise to tackle these tough jobs. Difficult oil and gas flow metering challenges like high pressures, pulsating flows, corrosive media and harsh environments are our daily business.

Heavy Industrial

For challenging industrial environments like mining, steel & paper mills, and industrial vehicles we offer flow meters with easy flow paths to run thick materials, rugged meter bodies that handle extreme conditions and designs with high shock and vibration resistance.

Paints/Sealants/Adhesives

Automotive plants and their Tier-1 suppliers have been using AW-Lake flow meters for 40+ years to monitor usage of paints, coatings, adhesives, lubricants, and other fluids to maintain strict process control and manage operational costs. Flow meters in these areas must be capable of measuring a wide range of materials.

Water Cooling

Monitoring process cooling systems, including industrial cooling circuits and HVAC systems, helps maintain your plant or building efficiency, conserve energy, and improve the bottom line. Constant monitoring and control of these systems can easily be done using flow monitoring and control instrumentation from AW-Lake.

General Industrial

General industrial plants around the world have been using AW-Lake flow meters to maintain their process operations, plus they have integrated our meters as a vital part of their end product. Our broad portfolio of flow measurement equipment provides solutions to your paint operations.

Test Systems

With increasing product complexity, tighter regulations, and growing demands on companies to reduce operating costs and improve product quality, there is more focus on test and measurement procedures and equipment.

Alternative Energy

As the world shifts towards sustainable practices, the demand for efficient energy production methods intensifies. AW-Lake flow meters are used in many ways within renewable energy sectors such as solar, wind, hydro, and biofuels.

Marine

In a field where fuel consumption attributes to most of the total operating costs, it is critical for marine ship owners and operators to monitor their fuel systems. Accurate fuel consumption is key to understanding how and where to find areas to improve efficiency and control costs.

Chemical

AW-Lake understands the challenges and intricacies of chemical / petrochemical process monitoring with flow meters. We have the depth of experience with corrosive, aggressive liquids and gases that you need in your flow measurement partner.

Environmental

As the the world continues to examine ways to lesson our impact on the environment and develop new technologies to support those efforts, flow measurement enters the conversation more and more.

Aerospace

AW-Lake flow meters are trusted in the aerospace and aviation industry, where they ensure precise measurement and control of fuel, hydraulic fluids, and other critical liquids and gases. They play a vital role in maintaining optimal performance, ensuring safety, and enhancing fuel efficiency.

New Sentinel-RTD from SignalFire to Support 2, 3, or 4-wire RTD Sensors

Hudson, MA, November 2, 2015 – Signal Fire Wireless Telemetry has added the Sentinel-RTD as a new interface option to its Wireless Remote Sensing System. The latest addition to Signal Fire’s Class I, Division 1 Sentinel node family, the Sentinel-RTD provides a direct connection to P100 2, 3, or 4-wire RTD sensors (other types available on request). Designed to operate in demanding outdoor industrial environments, especially in the oil and gas industry, the Sentinel-RTD offers a long life with an intrinsically safe battery pack. An optional Class 1, Division 1 solar system is available for installations where it is not practical to utilize batteries. Simple to install and maintain, the Sentinel-RTD offer a cost effective option to wired solutions; costing less than 60 feet of installed conduit.

Utilizing long-range, mesh networking technology, the Signal Fire Remote Sensing System (SFRSS) contains “Sentinel” (and other types of) battery powered wireless nodes that interface with sensors. The nodes extract data and then communicate that data to control devices via a Gateway. The system has an open architecture that allows users to integrate many types of sensors, including RTDs, to monitor remote assets. The SFRSS can be used to build a full wireless network using the best sensors for each sensing application point.

For example, SignalFire’s wireless monitoring system can be used as a cost-effect way of monitoring and controlling assets well pads in upstream oil and gas facilities. Tubing and casing pressures as well as heater-treater temperatures, gas flare temperatures, tank levels, flows, well shut-in, RTUs and other oilfield measurements and controls can be seamlessly integrated into a single system using the SignalFire Telemetry system.
